The Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) has shared a total of N1.818 trillion among the Federal Government, the 36 state governments, and the 774 local government councils (LGCs) for the month of June.

This figure represents an increase of N159 billion compared to the N1.659 trillion distributed in May.

The revenue sharing was finalized at the July 2025 FAAC meeting held in Abuja, according to a statement issued on Saturday, July 19, by the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation.

The statement explained that the N1.818 trillion distributable revenue comprised:

  • Statutory revenue: N1.018 trillion
  • Value Added Tax (VAT): N631.507 billion
  • Electronic Money Transfer Levy (EMTL): N29.165 billion
  • Exchange difference: N38.849 billion
  • Augmentation from non-mineral revenue: N100 billion

It further disclosed that in June, a total gross revenue of N4.232 trillion was collected. From this amount, N162.786 billion was deducted for the cost of collection, while transfers, interventions, refunds, and savings accounted for N2.251 trillion.

This latest allocation highlights improved revenue inflows into the Federation Account, bolstering resources available to all tiers of government.
