The Enugu State Hotel Owners’ Association has expressed delight over the decision of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) to hold its 2025 Annual General Conference at the International Conference Centre, Enugu.
In a goodwill message jointly signed by the Chairman, Dr. Johnson Ugwuoke; Vice Chairman, Sir Jeff Uke; and Secretary, Chief Eric Chibueze Chime, the association commended the NBA leadership for selecting Enugu as the host city.
“We appreciate the NBA leadership and are glad that Enugu State is chosen to host the Annual General Conference,” the statement read.
The association further applauded the Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, for facilitating the choice of the state as venue, describing him as a leader who has proven his capacity through transformational governance.
“The Executive Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, has proved beyond all shadow of doubt that he is a man of many parts by facilitating the choice of Enugu for the conference. Tomorrow is here in Enugu State with the general transformations and ease of doing business,” the group noted.
Highlighting Enugu’s recent infrastructural strides and security improvements, the association encouraged delegates to explore the city during their stay.
“It is better that you are here to see the infrastructural innovations and tight security in the ancient city of South Eastern Nigeria. We are prepared to receive all the lawyers in Nigeria to our comfort zones as the best place to be in terms of hospitality and tourism,” the statement added.
The hoteliers concluded by assuring the NBA and all conference participants of a memorable experience.
