The countdown has begun for the 2025 edition of the Enugu 042 NaijaBrandChick Trade Fair, which promises to return bigger and better than last year’s highly successful outing.
Scheduled for August 30–31, 2025 at the International Conference Center, Enugu, the trade fair will feature over 200 vendors, cultural showcases, and exciting giveaways, organizers announced.
The annual event, which last year transformed Enugu into a bustling hub of innovation, commerce, and entertainment, is a joint initiative of the Enugu SME Center and the Office of Digital Economy, in partnership with NaijaBrandChick.
According to Hon. Arinze Chilo-Offiah, Special Adviser to the Governor on SME Development and Digital Economy, the trade fair is designed to position Enugu as a hub of commerce in the Southeast. “With the vision of Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, this fair will showcase the strength of MSMEs, promote our cultural heritage, and open new opportunities for businesses to scale,” he said.
Participants can look forward to a variety of activities, including cultural performances, free vendor booths for selected SMEs, business networking opportunities, and the much-anticipated Peter Naira giveaways.
NaijaBrandChick, co-organizer of the event, described the fair as more than just a marketplace. “It is a celebration of creativity, entrepreneurship, and community. Last year, we saw thousands of happy shoppers and hundreds of successful businesses. This year, we are going even bigger,” the brand noted.
Organizers encouraged businesses to seize the opportunity, stressing that vendor slots are limited. “This is your chance to shine, connect, and grow,” they said, urging interested vendors to secure their booths by contacting the provided helpline.
The 2025 edition, stakeholders say, will reinforce Enugu’s growing reputation as a center of trade, culture, and innovation in Nigeria’s Southeast.
