The Ebe Worldwide Platform (EWP), an association of Ebe indigenes across the globe, has congratulated the Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, for the spectacular hosting of the 2025 Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Conference in Enugu.
In a congratulatory message signed by its Chairman, Dr. Jude Akubuilo, EWP said Governor Mbah’s efforts have repositioned Enugu as a pride of the Southeast and projected the state to the world.
“The confluence of good governance, great infrastructural development, and security architecture has repositioned Enugu State as the Star of the East,” the statement read.
The group noted that the hosting of the NBA Conference has further showcased the state’s potential and underscored Governor Mbah’s commitment to transformational leadership.
While felicitating with the Governor, the Ebe Worldwide Platform also used the opportunity to draw attention to the plight of their community, particularly the absence of a motorable road, despite several promises by past administrations.
“Ebe is blessed with ample fertile farmlands but, alas, the farmers are seriously impeded in bringing their produce to the markets due to lack of access roads,” Dr. Akubuilo lamented.
EWP expressed optimism that Governor Mbah, whose governance style emphasizes equitable distribution of development, will consider including Ebe Road in the ongoing rural road network programme.
“We hope that His Excellency, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, will have pity on Ebe and address this long-standing need of our people,” the statement added.
The group prayed for God’s continuous guidance and protection upon the Governor, urging him to sustain the good work he is doing in Enugu State.
