As Nigeria marked its 65th Independence Day, the Chief Executive Officer of Nze Homes Ventures Ltd, Chief Arinze Okoye Francis, has called on leaders at all levels to recommit themselves to genuine service and the welfare of citizens.
In his Independence Day goodwill message released on Tuesday, Chief Okoye acknowledged the progress Nigeria has made since independence but emphasized that much more still needs to be done to meet the aspirations of the people.
According to him, leadership should be defined by service, sacrifice, and the promotion of the common good.
Chief Okoye praised Nigeria’s security agencies for their sacrifices and tireless work in safeguarding lives and property across the country.
“We give special praise to our security agencies for their tireless work in keeping our country safe. Day and night, they put their lives on the line to protect our homes, businesses, and communities. Their sacrifices and efforts are deeply appreciated,” he said.
He also urged Nigerians to continue supporting security personnel as they carry out their duties in challenging circumstances.
The Nze Homes boss reminded both citizens and leaders of the timeless virtues that guided Nigeria’s founding fathers, stressing that such values remain essential for national progress.
“As we celebrate, we must remember the values of our founding fathers — unity, honesty, hard work, and service to one another. These values should guide us as we face today’s challenges and work for a better tomorrow,” he stated.
Speaking on his company’s activities, Chief Okoye reiterated his commitment to providing quality housing solutions that secure investments and improve living standards.
“At Nze Homes and Shelters Ltd, we remain committed to serving our customers with the best housing and shelter services. From Lagos to Asaba, Abuja to Enugu, Imo to Awka, and many other cities, we continue to provide homes that bring comfort, stability, and joy to families across Nigeria,” he explained.
He stressed that the goal of Nze Homes is not only to provide houses but also to protect the investments of clients, partners, and customers nationwide.
In his concluding remarks, Chief Okoye expressed optimism for Nigeria’s future while urging citizens to remain united and hopeful.
“As Nigeria celebrates her 65th Independence Day, I send warm greetings to all Nigerians at home and abroad. This day reminds us of the freedom gained in 1960 and the courage of our people through the years. We thank God for bringing us this far as one nation, strong and full of hope.
To our political leaders, we acknowledge the steps already taken in building our country. But we must also admit that more still needs to be done. Leadership is a duty to serve the people, and Nigeria needs leaders who are fully committed to the welfare of the citizens.
On this day, let us come together as one people with faith and courage. May Nigeria continue to grow stronger, and may our dreams for a brighter future become a reality. Happy 65th Independence Day Nigeria!”
