A prominent figure in Africa’s energy landscape, Engr. Chinedu Onyeizu, the Chief Executive Officer of the Abia Industrial Innovation Park (AIIP), is set to lead a pivotal panel discussion at the highly anticipated Africa Energy Summit.
The prestigious event, scheduled for November, will convene at the state-of-the-art Kigali Convention Centre in Rwanda, drawing together key stakeholders to chart the continent’s energy trajectory.
Engr. Onyeizu, a globally recognised petroleum engineer, brings a wealth of experience and profound insights to the summit’s strategic conversations.

Before taking the helm at Abia State’s industrial transformation initiative, Onyeizu forged an impressive career within the oil and gas sector. His early recognition as the Best Young Petroleum Engineer in West Africa in 2006 marked the beginning of his ascent within the global energy community.
He subsequently held critical positions at Chevron, where he made significant contributions to several high-impact upstream projects, following a crucial tenure with the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF). The PTDF is a vital federal agency dedicated to capacity building and research within Nigeria’s energy sector.
