The city of Enugu came alive on Saturday, October 25, 2025, as top political leaders, captains of industry, and well-wishers from across the nation gathered to celebrate the glamorous wedding ceremony of Hon. Dr. Engr. Prince Tochukwu Nwanjoku and his beautiful bride, Lady Nkemdilim Jessica
Hon. Dr. Engr. Tochukwu Nwanjoku who is the son of the famous Nigerian politician and the PDP Chairman Of Enugu State (1999-2008) & also a high ranking traditional ruler in Nigeria, His Royal Majesty Igwe Dr. Godwin Onyioha Onyebuchi Nwanjoku JP, MFR
The memorable event drew a distinguished crowd, including the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), His Excellency, Distinguished Senator George Akume, CON, CFR, and his wife, Her Excellency, Hon. Mrs. Regina Mbavekumtor Akume, Chairman, House Committee on NAFDAC and member representing Gboko/Tarka Federal Constituency. The couple were Sponsors and Godparents of the newlyweds, a role they played with remarkable grace and distinction.
The solemn wedding Mass was held at Holy Spirit Parish, Golf Course Estate, GRA, Enugu, while the grand reception followed at the most expensive Multipurpose Hall, International Conference Centre (ICC), Enugu, where family, friends, and dignitaries celebrated love, unity, and new beginnings.
Among those who graced the joyous occasion was the Executive Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency Barr. Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, represented by the Honourable Commissioner for Labour and Employment, Hon. Felix Nnamani.
Also in attendance was aviation magnate and Chairman of OAS Airline, Capt. Everest Nnaji (Odengene) who also is the Chairman Of The Occasion, alongside His Excellency Major General Enobong Okon Udoh, a distinguished three-star General of the Nigerian Army, Hon. Chief. Barr. Pius Akuta Chairman/CEO Nigerian Shippers Council.
The Speaker of the Enugu State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Engr. Uchenna Ugwu, led a high-powered delegation from the legislature, including Hon. Johnson Ani, Majority Leader; Rt. Hon. Jane Eneh, Hon. Raymond Ugwu, and several other lawmakers who turned out elegantly to celebrate their colleague and friend.
The celebration also witnessed the presence of members of the Enugu State Executive Council, local government chairmen, traditional rulers, and business executives from various sectors.
