The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced that candidates who applied for recruitment into the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Federal Fire Service (FFS), and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) can begin checking their application status from Thursday, October 30, 2025.
This was disclosed in an official statement signed by the Secretary to the Board, Maj. Gen. A. M. Jibril (Rtd.), and released on Wednesday.
According to the statement, applicants are to visit the Board’s official recruitment portal at https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng to confirm if they have been shortlisted for the next stage of the recruitment process and to view details of their Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres.
“The Board wishes to notify candidates to visit its official recruitment portal from Thursday, 30th October 2025, to check if they have been shortlisted for the next stage of the exercise as well as centres for the Computer-Based Test (CBT),” the statement read.
It further advised shortlisted candidates to carefully note the venue, date, and time scheduled for their CBT, emphasizing that attendance at the allocated centre is mandatory.
The CDCFIB also cautioned applicants against engaging with fake websites or individuals claiming to represent the Board.
“All applicants are enjoined to take note of the Board’s portal address highlighted above to avoid being scammed,” Maj. Gen. Jibril added.
The recruitment process covers four key paramilitary agencies under the Ministry of Interior, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen national security, border management, and emergency response services.
