The Enugu State Government, under the visionary leadership of Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, has announced the relaunch of the Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP) 2.0, a national youth empowerment initiative designed to equip fresh graduates with practical skills, mentorship, and work experience.
The programme, implemented through the Enugu SME Center / Office of Digital Economy (Enugu SME & Startup Agency) in partnership with the Federal Government, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and the European Union (EU), aims to create more opportunities for Enugu’s young talents to thrive in today’s competitive economy.
According to a statement signed by Arinze Chilo-Offiah, Special Adviser to the Governor on MSME and Digital Economy and Director General of the Enugu SME Center, NJFP 2.0 promises to be “bigger, better, and more impactful” in addressing youth unemployment and bridging the experience gap for fresh graduates.
“This 12-month, fully paid placement programme connects qualified graduates with verified organizations nationwide, providing hands-on experience, mentorship, and a monthly stipend,” Chilo-Offiah explained.
“It’s another bold step by Governor Mbah’s administration to prepare our youths for the #FutureOfWork. The #TomorrowIsHere.”
The Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme offers participants valuable exposure to professional environments, helping them build networks and gain practical skills aligned with both local and global workforce demands.
