Fidelity Advert

The Caretaker Committee Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Enugu State, Barrister Ben Nwoye, has congratulated Dr. Kingsley Tochukwu Udeh, SAN, following his nomination by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

In his congratulatory message, Nwoye praised Dr. Udeh’s character, intellect, and professional record, describing him as a man of “impeccable character and verifiable academic credentials.”

“On behalf of the APC Family in Enugu State, I congratulate Dr. Kingsley Tochukwu Udeh, SAN, the Enugu State ministerial nominee,” Nwoye said. “Dr. Udeh is a great man with implacable character and verifiable academic credentials. I am sure he will bring his wealth of experience to help actualize President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda. Once again, congratulations, Dr. Udeh, SAN.”

Recall that on Tuesday, President Tinubu formally requested the Senate’s confirmation of Dr. Udeh’s nomination as Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The request was contained in a letter addressed to Senate President Godswill Akpabio and read during the Senate’s plenary session.

President Tinubu described Dr. Udeh as a nominee of “proven integrity and competence,” expressing confidence that he would make meaningful contributions to his administration.

The President’s letter read in part:

“I am pleased to forward to the Senate the nomination of Dr. Kingsley Tochukwu Udeh, Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), for confirmation as Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
While I trust that this request will receive the Senate’s usual expeditious consideration, please accept, Mr. Senate President and distinguished senators, the assurances of my highest regards.”

Following the reading of the letter, Senate President Akpabio referred the nomination to the Committee of the Whole for immediate consideration.

Dr. Udeh, who currently serves as the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice in Enugu State, is a respected legal scholar and advocate. If confirmed, he is expected to bring his extensive experience in law, governance, and public administration to the federal cabinet in support of President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda.
