In a bombshell revelation that has set social media ablaze, billionaire senator Ned Nwoko has finally broken his silence on the messy feud with his estranged wife, Regina Daniels, accusing her family of drug abuse, sabotage, and emotional blackmail.

The politician, in a detailed statement on his socialmedia handle, claimed that Regina’s brother Sammy Daniels and several of her friends repeatedly invaded his home, harassed his children, and disrupted the actress’s medical rehabilitation from substance addiction.

“These videos show Sammy, Regina’s brother, repeatedly coming to my home and harassing my children and domestic staff, especially whenever I was not around. His visits were often aggressive and disruptive,” Nwoko said.

Nwoko, who represents Delta North in the Senate, revealed shocking details of the financial support and generosity he extended to the Daniels family — support which, according to him, was repaid with betrayal and chaos.

“I sponsored Sammy through his last two years at the University of Ekpoma. I bought his musical instruments, rented and furnished a flat for him in Abuja, and even bought a house in Asaba for Regina before our marriage. I also routinely provided allowances to all family members, including her mother, Rita Daniels. In the last two years alone, I transferred ₦125 million to her,” he stated.

But the senator said everything began to fall apart when he discovered troubling changes in Regina’s behavior, which doctors linked to drug addiction and sleeplessness.

“Her doctors instructed that we restrict access to her during therapy because she was struggling with certain illegal substances. But her siblings and friends kept sneaking in the same drugs she was being treated for,” he lamented.

According to Nwoko, those closest to Regina were the ones fueling her addiction.

“It is important to note that Lawrence, Sammy, his girlfriend NK, Destiny, Sonia, and others also took the same drugs as Regina. In fact, Lawrence and Sammy were the ones who first introduced and supplied these drugs to her,” he alleged.

“I do not drink alcohol, nor smoke. I’m a vegetarian. So I found their behavior disgusting and unacceptable.”

The drama reportedly escalated one night when Nwoko found Regina high on drugs in his room around 4 a.m. He said she was on a call and refused to leave when told to. Things spiraled after he discovered Sammy’s girlfriend had been in Regina’s room — an act he said was forbidden due to the ongoing therapy.

“I asked the girl to leave, and one of my drivers dropped her off. Thirty minutes later, Sammy stormed my house shouting and demanding that I come downstairs to face him. He said I had no right to send his girlfriend away. He was ranting, threatening, and waking everyone — including the children. I had to instruct security to push him out,” Nwoko recounted.

The senator described the experience as “a nightmare,” claiming that Regina’s outbursts, defiance, and association with drug users made the home unbearable.

“Whenever I wasn’t around, she would fight with police and staff, yelling that she must go out. Twice, she left home and didn’t return till the next day. Once, she came back around 9 a.m. and told me she had been at a nightclub. When I asked why she ignored my calls, she said, ‘You’re not my father, don’t ask me where I was,’” he recalled.

According to him, Regina’s friend Cassie, whom he called “the chemist and supplier,” often stayed at her house in Life Camp, Abuja, and played a key role in keeping her addicted.

“With her around Regina, the therapy became a joke,” he said bitterly.

Nwoko also addressed the viral video that circulated online showing chaos involving Regina’s siblings, insisting that it was staged in his absence.

“Everything that happened that day was in my house, in my absence. Nobody was beaten. The video that went viral was filmed entirely in front of my house by Regina’s sister and her friend. It was a pure Nollywood production,” he said.

He further accused Sammy of repeatedly attacking his staff and police officers assigned to the residence, alleging that the young man’s behavior has been influenced by drugs and lawlessness.

“Sammy has been arrested a few times by the police and the EFCC. He needs total rehab; otherwise, his violent behavior will continue,” Nwoko declared.

The senator said he once offered Sammy the chance to relocate to London for a master’s degree, just like his brother Lawrence, but he refused — choosing instead to “chase fame and chaos” in Nigeria.

“He needs to have a life outside Regina,” Nwoko said.

Ending his statement on a note of pain, the lawmaker described himself as a man who tried to save his wife but was dragged down by her inner circle.

“Imagine the pain of a husband trying to help his wife recover, only for her siblings and friends to sabotage her healing. Each time progress was made, they would undo it by bringing the same drugs she was fighting to quit,” he said.

Nwoko said he’s speaking out not to destroy Regina but to set the record straight, after what he called “a campaign of lies and manipulation.”

“I took so much nonsense for the sake of my kids. But the truth must be told,” he concluded.
