Fidelity Advert

A former member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Stainless Nwodo, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Senator Barr. Oke Ezea, describing him as “a great leader… the pride of my people.”

In an emotional tribute, Nwodo said it was “hard to believe” that the senator, fondly known as Okaa-Oburuzo Ndi Enugu North, had passed on.

“I will always cherish the memories of your kindness, your strength, and your ability to find humor in any situation,” he wrote, recalling how Ezea immediately saw potential in him during a challenging campaign period and offered unwavering encouragement.

Nwodo lamented that the entire Enugu North zone feels “a little dimmer” without the late senator, emphasizing that he was more than a political figure.

“You were a father, a friend, a mentor, and a pillar of strength,” he said, adding that Ezea’s life was a blessing and his memory would remain a treasure.

Extending his condolences to the senator’s immediate family, the people of Enugu North, Ndi Enugu and the 10th National Assembly, Nwodo concluded with a poignant message: “You are gone, but never forgotten.”
