Nollywood has been plunged into mourning following the confirmed death of popular actor Odira Nwobu, who passed away in South Africa.
The heartbreaking news was announced by actor and producer Stanley Ontop in a post on his Instagram page. According to him, the devastating information came through a phone call informing him that Odira had died in South Africa.
Sharing more details on the circumstances surrounding the tragedy, Stanley revealed that the actor passed away after battling high blood pressure.
He explained that Odira had stepped out for a night outing but tragically died the next morning after returning home. Stanley prayed for the peaceful repose of his colleague, saying he hoped Odira’s soul would rest in peace.
