Fidelity Advert
Donald Trump

United States President Donald Trump has promised a total halt to immigration from what he called “Third World countries,” unveiling one of his most far-reaching policy agendas yet in a strongly worded Thanksgiving message posted on his X (formerly Twitter) account.

In the lengthy statement, Trump accused U.S. leaders of allowing the country to be “divided, disrupted, carved up, murdered, beaten, mugged, and laughed at” because of what he described as failed immigration policies.

According to him, the United States now hosts “53 million” foreign-born residents, a number he claims consists largely of people from “failed nations,” as well as individuals allegedly coming from prisons, gangs, and other troubled backgrounds. He argued that American taxpayers are “supporting them and their children through massive payments.”

Trump went further, saying:
“A migrant earning $30,000 with a green card will get roughly $50,000 in yearly benefits for their family… This refugee burden is the leading cause of social dysfunction in America.”

He cited crime, urban decay, strained hospitals, and housing shortages as consequences of what he described as uncontrolled migration.

Referencing Minnesota, Trump claimed that a large influx of Somali refugees had transformed the state and contributed to rising insecurity. He sharply criticized the state’s governor and Rep. Ilhan Omar, accusing them of failing to address the concerns of residents.

Trump then issued one of his strongest immigration pledges to date, declaring:
“I will permanently pause migration from all Third World Countries to allow the U.S. system to fully recover.”

He also vowed to “terminate all of the millions of Biden illegal admissions,” revoke benefits for non-citizens, denaturalize migrants he claims undermine “domestic tranquility,” and deport foreign nationals considered security risks or “non-compatible with Western Civilization.”

According to him, only “reverse migration” can solve what he called America’s immigration crisis.

Trump closed his message with a sharp contrast, wishing Americans a Happy Thanksgiving while warning those he accuses of harming the country:
“You won’t be here for long.”

The post has since sparked a wave of reactions across the political spectrum, with supporters praising his uncompromising stance and critics calling it inflammatory and discriminatory.
