The Agaba of Jiwa Chiefdom in the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Alhaji Idris Musa, has donated ₦1 million to the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Renewed Hope Ambassadors, a support group mobilising for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The donation was made on Wednesday when members of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, led by their Coordinator, Hon. Adamu Abdullahi, paid a courtesy visit to the monarch at his palace.
During the visit, the traditional ruler expressed deep appreciation to President Tinubu for what he described as purposeful leadership and strategic appointments, particularly in the Federal Capital Territory. He praised the President for appointing Barrister Nyesom Wike as Minister of the FCT and further commended him for identifying Hon. Abdullahi—whom he described as “his son”—as worthy of coordinating the Renewed Hope Ambassadors in the territory.
Alhaji Idris Musa declared his unwavering commitment to President Tinubu’s re-election, pledging that, within his sphere of influence in the FCT and beyond, he would personally lead efforts to mobilise support for the President.
He emphasised that the people of Abuja must reciprocate what he termed the President’s “laudable and brotherly gesture” towards the FCT, citing inclusive governance and meaningful political appointments as evidence of Tinubu’s commitment to the territory.
In his remarks, the Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Hon. Adamu Abdullahi, commended the Tinubu administration for its deliberate and inclusive approach to governance, with particular focus on renewed attention to the Federal Capital Territory.
Abdullahi highlighted key appointments, ongoing infrastructure projects, and policy directions which, he said, are aimed at positioning Abuja as a true national capital that reflects unity, equity, and shared prosperity.
He also underscored the critical role of traditional institutions in sustaining development, urging royal fathers to maintain active engagement with village heads and community leaders.
Seeking the monarch’s consent, Abdullahi appealed for permission for the Renewed Hope Ambassadors to engage tribal chiefs across communities within the Jiwa Chiefdom, stressing that peaceful coexistence remains the bedrock of sustainable development in the nation’s capital.
