An award-winning Artificial Intelligence expert and global innovation advocate, Hon. Engr. Joel Eze, has thrown his weight behind the re-election of Enugu State Governor, Barr. Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, describing the move as a principled defence of performance, progress, and the future of generations yet unborn.

Eze, a leading All Progressives Congress (APC) stalwart who represented Enugu State and Nigeria at the NextGen Innovation Challenge Grand Finale in London, made the declaration shortly after an APC stakeholders’ meeting, where he formally announced the launch of Tomorrow Defenders for Mbah (TDM)—a strategic mobilisation and civic engagement platform in support of Governor Mbah’s administration.

According to him, TDM is designed to unite local and international human capital, technology experts, youth innovators, diaspora professionals, and progressive leaders behind the governor’s transformational agenda.

“Tomorrow is not a promise—it is already here,” Eze said. “What Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah has done is to see the future, plan deliberately for it, and begin delivering it today. That future must be protected, sustained, and expanded through responsible civic engagement and democratic participation.”

He stressed that the 2027 general election should mark a defining moment in Enugu State’s political history, one that firmly establishes that visionary leadership, competence, and measurable performance deserve continuity and greater responsibility.

Eze explained that Tomorrow Defenders for Mbah will adopt technology-driven grassroots engagement, data-enabled voter education, youth digital mobilisation, diaspora coordination, and policy advocacy to ensure that the achievements of the current administration are accurately communicated, factually defended, and institutionally strengthened.

“Supporting Barr. Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah is not about politics alone,” he added. “It is about safeguarding the future—education, innovation, infrastructure, opportunity, and prosperity—for Enugu State and generations yet unborn.”

As part of its operational framework, Eze noted that TDM will comb communities at the grassroots to gather granular, real-time data, which will be collated, analysed, and responsibly deployed to strengthen governance feedback systems, enhance citizen engagement, inform policy advocacy, and support lawful political mobilisation anchored on facts, performance metrics, and the public interest.
