Multiple United States (US) military aircraft have crashed in Kuwait, the country’s Ministry of Defence confirmed, stating that all crew members survived and are in stable condition.
The incident, reported by the Kuwait News Agency, prompted immediate rescue and response operations by Kuwaiti authorities.
In a statement carried on social media, the ministry said all personnel aboard the aircraft were safely evacuated and transferred to hospitals for medical evaluation. Officials stressed that there were no fatalities.
Authorities did not immediately disclose how many aircraft were involved or what caused the crashes, noting that investigations are ongoing.
Video footage circulating online — later verified by Sky News — appeared to show one of the jets spiralling downward in freefall before impact.
Kuwaiti defence officials reiterated that operations in the area remain active while inquiries continue into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The crashes occurred amid heightened tensions in the Gulf region. A day earlier, reports indicated that Iran had struck a US military facility in Kuwait in retaliation for joint airstrikes conducted by the United States and Israel on Iranian targets.
Other US-linked facilities in Qatar, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia where also said to have experienced missile-related activity, raising fears of further escalation.
While officials have not linked the aircraft crashes directly to the reported strikes, the timing has intensified scrutiny as regional security concerns mount.
