…Inaugurates RMAFC and FCSC Commissioners

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has formally sworn in Tunji Disu as the 23rd Inspector-General of Police (IGP), marking a new chapter in the leadership of the Nigeria Police Force.

The swearing-in ceremony took place at the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa, Abuja, shortly before the commencement of the meeting of the Federal Executive Council (FEC).

Disu took the oath of office in the presence of top government functionaries, ministers and members of his family, officially assuming the role as the nation’s chief law enforcement officer.

In addition to the new IGP, President Tinubu also administered the oath of office to six commissioners of the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) and two commissioners of the Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC).

The ceremony was attended by senior members of the administration, including Vice President Kashim Shettima; the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume; the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila; the National Security Adviser; and the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Esther Walson-Jack.

Immediately after the swearing-in ceremony, the Federal Executive Council meeting commenced, with a considerable number of council members in attendance.
