The All Progressives Congress has confirmed Enugu as the venue for its South-East zonal congress, scheduled to hold on Wednesday as part of its nationwide party activities.
In line with the party’s 2026 timetable for congresses, the national leadership formally notified the Independent National Electoral Commission of the exercise, specifying the Multipurpose Hall of Hotel Presidential Enugu as the designated venue for the South-East zone.
The notice, jointly signed by the APC National Chairman, Nentawe Yilwatda, and National Secretary, Surajudeen Bashiru, outlined venues for all six geopolitical zones across the country.
According to the party, the South-West zonal congress will take place at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos, while the South-South event is slated for the Dome Event Centre in Asaba. The North-West congress will hold at the Yar’Adua Conference Centre in Kaduna, North-East at the International Conference Centre in Gombe, and North-Central at the Aliyu Akwe Doma Conference Hall in Lafia.
“The congresses are expected to commence at 10 o’clock in the morning at all the venues,” the party stated, signaling readiness for the exercise expected to shape its regional leadership structures ahead of future political engagements.
