The Enugu MSME & Startup Agency has announced the opening of the Enugu Job Centre, describing it as a strategic platform designed to connect job seekers with real employment opportunities and career development support.
In a statement released on March 27, 2026, and signed by the agency, the initiative was credited to the administration of Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, whose leadership is focused on building a structured, system-driven approach to employment, skills development, and economic growth in the state.
“Under the visionary leadership of His Excellency… Enugu State is building a structured, system-driven approach to employment, skills development, and economic opportunity,” the agency stated.
According to the statement, the Enugu Job Centre is not just a support hub for job seekers but a platform that directly links residents of Enugu State to verified job opportunities.
“The Enugu Job Centre is a key part of that vision, designed not just to support job seekers, but to connect Ndi Enugu directly to real, verified opportunities,” it added.
The agency encouraged a wide range of individuals—including fresh graduates, skilled professionals, and those seeking new career paths—to leverage the services available at the centre.
“Whether you are a fresh graduate, a skilled professional, or seeking a fresh start, the Job Centre provides the support you need to move forward with confidence,” the statement read.
Highlighting its offerings, the agency noted that users of the centre can access personalised career guidance, professional CV writing and review, verified job listings, and job matching and placement services.
It further stated that the centre provides digital literacy and workplace readiness programmes to equip users with in-demand skills, alongside recruitment and business support services for employers and entrepreneurs.
“This is more than a job centre, it is a deliberate system to reduce unemployment, improve employability, and drive inclusive economic growth in Enugu State,” the agency said.
Emphasising its impact, the statement added: “No more guesswork. No more missed opportunities. Just the right support, at the right time.”
The Enugu Job Centre is located at No. 2A Market Garden Avenue, opposite SME Roundabout, Ebeano Tunnel, Enugu, and can be reached via 07036596085 or 08142590543, or online at www.enugujobs.ng.
“Linking talent to opportunity. Connecting you to your future,” the agency concluded.
