Tinubu
Hon. Nasir Bala Aminu, popularly known as Ja’oji, has resigned his position as Senior Special Assistant on Citizenship and Leadership to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in compliance with a directive requiring political appointees seeking elective office in 2027 to step down.

The resignation follows the President’s order mandating ministers, special advisers, senior special assistants, and other political appointees with political ambitions to vacate their offices on or before March 31, 2026.

In his resignation letter addressed to Dangambo, Ja’oji expressed deep appreciation to the President for the opportunity to serve the country.

He said his appointment into two different positions was driven by Tinubu’s commitment to youth development and the confidence he reposed in young Nigerians.

“I profoundly thank the President for giving me the opportunity to serve my motherland, Nigeria,” he stated.

He further pledged continued loyalty and readiness to serve whenever called upon.

“At whatever rate, I am ready to serve my country at any time President Tinubu deems it fit,” he added.

Ja’oji also commended the administration’s focus on youth empowerment, describing it as a key pillar of the government’s agenda.

“Tinubu’s keen interest in the development of Nigerian youth is one of the cardinal principles of his administration, which serves as a morale booster to all ages,” he said.

While highlighting the impact of the government’s policies, he expressed confidence in the administration’s future.

“Many of the good policies and programmes of the administration would bear more fruits when Tinubu gets a second tenure come 2027,” he noted.

The resignation is part of a broader compliance effort by political appointees positioning themselves for roles in the 2027 general elections under the President’s directive.
