The General Manager of the Enugu State Community and Social Development Agency (CSDA), Monday Diamond Ani, has met with prominent Catholic cleric, Ejike Mbaka, ahead of the planned statewide stakeholders’ sensitisation on NG-CARES, describing the engagement as productive and impactful.

Speaking after the meeting, Ani said the visit was part of efforts to mobilise key stakeholders and deepen awareness on community-driven development initiatives across the state.

According to him, “Fr Mbaka is an awesome Nigerian who understands governance and applies it accordingly,” noting that their deliberations centred on ensuring the success of the upcoming sensitisation programme.

He disclosed that the event, scheduled for April 10, 2026, would be a landmark moment for Enugu State.

“April 10 will be historic in Enugu,” Ani stated.

The CSDA boss added that the sensitisation, which will focus on the operations of NG-CARES, is designed to strengthen community participation and enhance the delivery of development projects across the state.

Responding, Mbaka commended the agency’s leadership for what he described as forward-thinking initiatives, particularly the planned sensitisation programme.

He expressed confidence in the impact of the engagement, stressing the importance of community awareness in driving sustainable development.

The statewide stakeholders’ sensitisation is scheduled to hold at the International Conference Centre (ICC), Enugu, by 10:00 a.m. on April 10, 2026.
