The Enugu MSME & Startup Agency has announced the opening of applications for the iDICE Startup Bridge programme, offering young entrepreneurs in the state access to structured training and funding opportunities.
In a statement released on April 7, 2026, the agency described the initiative as a major gateway for startup founders seeking real investment and growth support.
“The wait is over. As your State Focal Institution, the Enugu MSME & Startup Agency (Enugu SME Center) is proud to announce that applications for the iDICE Startup Bridge are officially open,” the statement read.
The agency emphasized that the programme goes beyond conventional training, positioning it as a flagship component of the $617.7 million federal i-DICE initiative aimed at nurturing Nigeria’s next generation of innovators.
“This isn’t just another training program, it’s the first flagship component of the $617.7M Federal i-DICE initiative. We are on a mission to build Nigeria’s next generation of innovators by providing the structured support and capital pathways required to scale,” it stated.
According to the agency, the programme targets both early-stage founders and post-Minimum Viable Product (MVP) startups, with tailored support tracks designed to meet varying levels of business development.
“Whether you are an early-stage founder with a validated idea or a post-MVP startup ready for institutional investment, we have a dedicated lab for you,” the statement added.
Participants will undergo a 12-week intensive hybrid training programme led by industry experts and investors, focusing on business modeling, customer discovery, operational optimization, and leadership development.
Highlighting the benefits, the agency noted that selected participants would gain access to mentorship and funding opportunities.
“Access performance-based grants of up to ₦10M (Founders Lab) or position your business for equity-based investment (Growth Lab),” it said.
Eligibility for the programme is limited to Nigerian youths aged 18 to 35, particularly those operating in tech-enabled or creative sectors such as gaming, animation, and film, with a commitment to participate in the cohort scheduled from April to August 2026.
Encouraging applications, the agency stressed the transformative potential of the initiative.
“The journey from a local idea to a globally scalable venture starts in Enugu. Don’t let the deadline pass you by!” the statement urged.
Applications close on April 20, 2026, with the agency reaffirming its role as the focal point for the programme in the state.
