In what could described as ‘Show of might,’ a group of women resident in Aba has stormed the street of Aba in Solidarity to their state Governor over what they termed “show of shame” by some political jobbers in the state.

The women said they had to come out in their numbers to show the entire world that what happened in the state earlier is nothing but a paid hatchet job by some disgruntled politicians in the state and doesn’t in any way, represent the true situation in the state.

One of the women who spoke to our correspondent in Aba said; “We were irked by the action of a hand full of women hired by one lady at Aba road and needed to set the records straight.

“You can see from the number of women here that we are at home with Ikpeazu. Can you compare the number of women here with the few persons that were paid a paltry sum of 1000 and given a uniform (which they have all returned to the lady that hired them).

“We want you to tell the world that the real Aba women are here in solidarity with their Governor,” she said.
