Officers of the Nigerian Police Force have forcefully chased out Shiites protesters who were gathered at the Unity fountain, Abuja, and demanding for the release of their leader, Ibrahim El-Zakzaky.
According to eye witness reports, the police fired teargas at the protesters to disperse from the venue.
