Billionaire busines mogul and presidential aspirant, Gbenga Olawepu Hashim have called on Nigeria youths to ensure they vote for the right candidates in the forth coming 2019 general election not minding the political party the person belongs to.
Mr. Gbenga who was a founding Deputy National Publicity secretary of PDP and currently in the presidential race under the platform of the Alliance for New Nigeria, ANN, made the call during the weekend in Afikpo, Ebonyi state few minutes after commissioning a project built by a lawmaker in the state, Hon. Maria Ude Nwachi.
He called on Nigeria youths not believe in those who called them lazy, stating that an average Nigeria youth is not lazy and that it is only those that are intellectually lazy that cannot reason properly.
Mr. Gbenga further stated that ANN as a political party was out to help empower the youths by assisting then in which ever way they can better their lives and better the nation.
In his words, “The young people like you will make a new beginning in the history of the eastern region. You will close the shores of some looting politicians”.
“These politicians move from being senators to governors, from governors to ministers, from ministers back to being senators. They collect pensions as former governors and former senators. Some of them collect more than 3 pensions.
“We must use this opportunity to end their political careers. You are the ones who can end their careers and the way to do this is to vote credible candidates like Hon. Maria”.
