All might not be well with the ruing All ProgressIve Congress following the screening of her Governorship aspirants last week that saw the disqualification of few of the aspirants.
One of the casualties and a serving minister who her dream of becoming the governor of her state was truncated by the action of the National Working Committee of the party don’t seem to be taking the decision likely.
The Minister of Women Affairs and Social Development. Aisha Alhassan, popularly known as Mama Taraba is reported to have resigned from her position to enable her realise her ambition of governing her state, Taraba.
It was gathered that Mama Taraba is set to ditch the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, for the United Democratic Party, UDP.
Her resignation is attributed to the unjust treatment by the National Working Committee of the APC to disqualify her from contesting for the Taraba State governorship election on its platform.
The National Chairman of the APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, had in a press conference in Abuja on Friday outlined the reasons disqualified.
