Following the letter from Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, banning the leading All Progressive Congress, APC from fielding any candidate in the upcoming election in Zamfara State, the leadership of APC have come out with a position on the pronouncement of INEC.
In a letter signed by the national Chairman of APC, the party queried the phrase in the INEC letter were they stated that APC never conducted any primary election in Zamfara State stating that a primary was held and the party arrived at a consensus.
APC went ahead to state clearly in their letter that they will field candidates for all election in the state and if INEC disagrees with their submission, they will provide more clarification.
