Biafrans in politics led by Movement of Biafrans in Nigeria (MOBIN) are using Legal methodology which comprises political, judicial and diplomatic processes to seek for freedom from wrongly structured Nigeria. Legal methodology is adopted because it exposes our people to little or no harm. Moreover, it is the best approach to our freedom quest.
In 2017, MOBIN’s candidates contested in Anambra state governorship election. Victory could have been ours, but few setbacks affected our first participation in Nigerian politics. We learnt much and acquired major experience from our first attempt. We are, now, prepared for victory.
In the coming 2019 general election, we the Biafran activists in Nigerian politics have chosen Obumneke Ejimnkeonye Okafor to contest for Anambra central senatorial position. We are sending him to senate to present the bill for Granting Regional Autonomy to indigenous nationalities in Nigeria or granting them Independent Republics through peaceful dissolution.
We know that many legislative activities will be thrown up when the bill is passed. The activities will include bills/laws for national conference and replacement of the unpopular 1999 constitution with a popular constitution that will support regional autonomy. Obumneke Ejimnkeonye Okafor has the training, skills and experience that are needed to work with lawmakers from other zones for the actualization of desired goals. We are sending him on Liberation Mission.
