The strike action called by the Nigeria Labour Congress seems to be gaining more traction by the day as some key sectors of the country’s workforce are already passing circulars to their members to join the strike.

The NLC is accusing the tripartite committee that sat to agree on a national minimum wage of not respecting the decision of the committee.

NLC leadership yesterday refused to attend the meeting conveyed by the Federal Government in protest over what they called “Negligence”.

It is not yet clear if NLC leadership will honour the meeting today though feelers from the leadership of the Labour union says they will be attending the meeting with the Federal Government.
