Senator Ayogu Eze, the Governorship candidate of the All Progressive Congress in Enugu State has unveiled his blueprint for the economic, educational and infrastructural transformation of Enugu state if elected as the Governor of the State.
The working document christened “A manifesto for an Uncommon Transformational Leadership” crisscrossed on thirteen key areas including Tourism, Security, Agriculture , Education, Infrastructure/Rural Develoment, Healthcare, Sports, Economic Blueprint, Housing/Urban Development, Transportation, Independent Power Projects, Locality Administration and Social Contract.
While unveiling the manifesto at his campaign office on 1st December 2018, to mark the beginning of the governorship campaigns, before thousands of party faithful, Senator Ayogu Eze explained that his plan for the state will see to see the expanding of the urban centres in Enugu, 9th Mile and Nsukka areas of the state as well as pursue an industrial rebirth in the state.
The document according to Senator Eze also explains his plans to develop the agricultural sector which will translate to the provision of over One Hundred thousand jobs annually in the sector.
The candidate also, plans to re-energise the entertainment and return the Nollywood capital to Enugu where the industry started by providing an enabling environment for them and encouraging them in the best ways plausible.
“Government shall only provide the enabling environment, policy and infrastructural backbone necessary for the Government and the private sector, working together where necessary, under public private partnership, to unlock the key sectors of the economy that will usher in the desired development that will positively impact the lives of the people. The positive change shall be permanent and will be people driven without hindrance” Senator Ayogu said.
The policy unveiling was witnessed by several party officials both at the state and national level and all the candidates of the party for the 2019 general election.
