The Senate today, Tuesday passed the 2019 appropriation bill into law. The red chamber approved the sum of N8.916 trillion as the budget for the 2019 fiscal year.
The figure approved by the apex legislative chamber was increased by N86 billion against the N8.83 trillion initially submitted to the National Assembly in December 2018 for approval by President Muhammadu Buhari.
