This might not be the best of time for the National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, following the call by the National Deputy Chairman of the party for the party’s helmsman to step aside.
This call isn’t unrelated to the problem that bedeviled the party as a result of faulty primaries. That last straw believed to have broken the Carmel’s back is the Supreme Court judgement that sacked all the candidates of the party in Zamfara State even after wining the general election.
Reacting to this call for Oshiomhole to resign, the former Minister for Aviation, Femi Fani Kayode said that the former Edo state governor has been used.
“They have used him and now they want to dump him. Watch your back old friend: these guys don’t take prisoners.”
Mr. Femi told Oshiomhole to be worried when his deputy calls for his resignation because he’s not acting alone.
“When your Deputy publicly calls for you to step down you know that someone powerful and strategic is behind it.
“I feel sorry for my old friend and brother Adams Oshiomole” he concluded.
