Former Governor of Imo state, Rochas Okorocha was said to have arrived the National Assembly premises earlier today ahead of the inauguration but was refused accreditation by the National Assembly management, DAILY TRUST reports.
The decision to deny Okorocha accreditation might be connected to his fracas with the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
Okorocha who was announced winner of the Imo West Senetorial district was not issued a certificate of return by INEC.
Although a federal High court in Abuja had last week ordered that Rochas be given his certificate of return.
As at the time of this report, it is still unclear if INEC has complied with the decision of the court.
