The Enugu State House of Assembly today, Tuesday, 2nd July, 2019 resumed their sitting after their inauguration on the 10th of June, 2019. On their resumption of plenary, the speaker of the house took time to call the names of the members of the house and the committee each of them will be heading in the 7th Assembly of the State.

According to the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Edward Ubosi, Hon.Geoffrey Mbah representing Oji-River constituency will head the House committee on Information and Communication while James Akadu of Igbo Etiti West will chair Education, Science and Technology Committee.

The speaker went ahead to listed members of the house and the committees they will be heading as follows: Hon. Chinedu Ukwu of Aninri, Youths and Sports, Hillary Ugwu of Enugu East Rural, Agriculture and Natural resources.

Hon. Sam Ngene of Enugu South Urban, Health, Ethel Ugwuanyi of Igboeze North II, water Resources, Hon. Iloabuchi Aniagu of Nkanu West, Local Government and ENSIEC Matters, Hon. Chima Obieze of Ezeagu, works, Housing and Urban Development.

Hon. Emeka Ugwuera of Udi North, Judiciary Public Petition Ethics and Privilege, Hon. Janeh Eneh of Awgu North civil service and labour matters, Hon. Johnson Chukwuobasi of Awgu South, Economic Development and Poverty Reduction.

Hon. Paul Nnajiofor, of Nkanu East, Rural Development and SDG; Hon. Ikechukwu Ezeugwu of Udenu, Tender Board, Rules and Business, Hon. Ibekaku Onoh of Enugu North, Lands and Foreign Investment.

Hon. Chijioke Ugwueze of Isi-Uzo, Transport, Intergovernmental and Housing Services, Hon. Innocent Ugwu of Igboeze North I, Commerce and Industry, Hon. Onyinye Ugwu of Enugu South Rural, Gender Affairs and Social Welfare.
