Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has handed over a Toyota Sienna car to “Abia’s Number 1 Farmer”, Sir Earnest Dike Nwosu, from Umunteke Asa, Ukwa West LGA of Abia State.
The Governor had on Tuesday, 15th July, 2019 promised to assist the farmer with a car at the Flag-Off of 2019 farming season at the International Conference Center Umuahia, Abia State.
During the event, Sir Dike was among the exhibitors of agricultural products and that was the opportunity he had to meet with the Governor. He seized the opportunity to complain to the governor that “the major challenge facing him is means of transporting his of farm produce to Umuahia.”
Governor Ikpeazu in his reaction asked him to see him today and collect a car to help him move around and convey his agricultural products better.
The vehicle was presented on behalf of the Governor, by Mr Chinenye Nwaogu.
