The members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, IMN, today continued their protest in Abuja.
The members of the group also known as Shi’ites were seen at Banex in Wuse 2 Abuja, where they are currently being contained by the police.
Reports by Dailytimes said the Police and the Shiites are currently engaged in serious shootout which has forced all shops in Banex and other business complexes within the area to be locked down who ran for safety to avoid being hit by stray bullet.
One person identified by the members of the Shi’ites as Sumatra Lamara has already been reported dead following the renewed clash.

The Clashe between the Shiites and Police which started yesterday and resulted to the killing of a Deputy Commissioner of Police, a reporter with Channels TV and members the of IMN.
