Enugu State Police command has reacted to the news of the collapsed 3-storey building that’s under construction at Monarch, Independence Layout, Enugu.
In a terse statement issued by the command’s Public Relations Officer, SP, Ebere Amaraizu, said; “A three storey under construction is said to have collapsed.
“It was gathered that the incident occurred on 12/9/19 around Monarch avenue axis of independence layout Enugu.”
Speaking on the cause of the incident, Amaraizu said; “The cause of the incident is yet to be established but no casualty was recorded as there was no reported injury nor death of any person.”
Men of the State Emergency Management Agency, SEMA, had earlier reported to the scene to access the situation.
