A yet to be completed four storey building have reportedly collapsed in Enugu state, causing injuring to about four people.

The building located at One-day, in Agbani Road, Enugu-South Local Government Area of Enugu state was said to have collapsed around 2pm yesterday.

It was gathered that five out of the ten flats in the building which have been completed were already occupied by tenants who noticed a crack on the building.

Four of the tenants were said to have fled the compound as a result of fear that the building might collapse at any time.

Reports revealed that one of the workers in the building broke his spinal cord after he jumped from the fourth storey when the building was collapsing.

He was rushed to a nearby hospital by the younger brother of the house owner who was also a supervisor in the building.

As at the time of this report, other degree of injuries could not be ascertained.

This is coming after a three-storey building under construction had collapsed from it’s foundation at Monarch Avenue in the same Enugu South Local Government Area of the state about 3weeks ago.
