A fire disaster was on Wednesday averted by men of Enugu State Fire Service following their arrival at the scene of the incident promptly.
A fully loaded petrol tanker had spilled it’s content at the populated New Artisan area of the state.
Answering to a distress call, officers of Enugu Fire Service arrived the scene and quickly diluted the spilled content to avoid it going up in flames.
Some petty traders in the place could be seen packing their stock in an attempt to leave the scene.
Some Keke operators appreciated the efforts of the fire fighters and encouraged them to continue on this path especially now, we are entering the dry season.
