Reports reaching Journalist101 indicates that Rev. Fr. Arinze Madu of Queen of Apostles Seminary, Imezi Owa in Ezeagu Local Government Area, Enugu State, who was abducted on Monday at the gate of the institution by unknown hoodlums has regained his freedom.
Though the details of his release is still unknown as at the time of this report, the Catholic Diocese of Enugu via its official Facebook page, confirmed the release of the priest, stating that “Father Madu, the kidnapped priest of the Catholic Diocese of Enugu has been released.”
The State Police Public Relations Officer, SP, Ebere Amaraizu, told our correspondent via SMS “Yes, the report of the release he priest is true. He was released unhurt, Wednesday afternoon.”
