The Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, have come under fire following his comment on the state of Nigerian road.
The Minister, while addressing state house correspondents on Wednesday after the federal executive council meeting, said; “The roads are not as bad as they are often portrayed. I know that this is going to be your headline, but the roads are not that bad,”
The statement above didn’t go down well with Nigerians who took to social media to call out the former Lagos state governor. Leading the charge, an advocate of good governance, Henry Shield challenged the Minister for a tour of the roads with full media coverage. In his words; “Let’s show Nigerians what an honorable man you (Fashola) are…”

Lending his voice, a former minister of aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode said said; “I have always believed that Tunde is shallow, limited, intellectually dishonest, overrated, loyal only to his own ambition and not too bright.
“He also has a big chip on his shoulder. With these words he has proved it.”

Okey_IT said; I was shocked few weeks ago , I travelled with GIG (God is Good) transport , to my greatest surprise ,the driver bet us with 20k, that as far as Abuja to Eastern,Western or Southern,including Kogi,Benue,Nasarawa , that there is no single road completed since 2015 till date.
