The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has fixed a date for the conclusion of the controversial Kogi West Senatorial election.
According to a press statement by the electoral commission and signed by the Chairman Information and voter education, Festus Okoye, Esq, the duo of Dino Melaye of the PDP and the candidates of the APC, Smart Adeyemi will meet on the electoral field again on the 30th of November, 2019.
Recall that the the November 16th polls was declared inconclusive after INEC cancelled the votes from 53 polling units from 30 registration centers which made the winning margin less than the cancelled votes.
Dino Melaye trails the candidate of the APC, Smart Adeyemi by over 20,000 votes and the number of registered voters in the affected areas is 47,767.
