IT was a moment of merriment at the countryhome of former governor of Enugu State and senator representating Enugu East Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Dr. Chimaroke Nnamani, when executive council members of the apex leadership body of the youths of Enugu East Senatorial Zone, otherwise known as Nkanu Youth Council (NYC) led by Rt. Comr. Monday Diamond Ani, paid a courtesy visit to the political leader from Nkanu land on December 26, 2019.
The highly excited Senator shared a solemn cum special moment with the NYC Excos, expressing deep optimism on the unity and progress of the nation, Nigeria.
During their special interactive session, the delegation of NYC after sharing their vision and mission with the senator, commended him for his outstanding representation at the Red Chamber, especially on his act of unprecedented effective representation of the good people of Enugu East Senatorial Zone.
The youth group also utilised the opportunity to remind him of the importance of youth inclusiveness in the present day governance, youth-oriented projects and other necessary constituency projects which needed the urgent attention of the Federal Government.
On his part, Senator Nnamani assured them of his avowed efforts and commitment towards the provision of the needed quality representation by attracting basic constituency projects to his people and speaking for the welfare of all Nigerians.
The former governor who passionately admonished them, with promise of unalloyed support offered them special Palm Wine as a sign of love and appreciation to their existence and visit to his countryhome.
