Kwara state government on Thursday demolished a property belonging to the family of the former senate president of Nigeria, Dr. Bukola Saraki.

The building popularly referred to as a ‘Ile Arugbo’ was said to be demolished during the early hours of today.

Reports reveals that police officers were said to have gone to enforce the action at about 3:00am but were resisted by some women.

The structure was later demolished at about 4:00am.

It will be recalled that the Governor of Kwara state, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq had announced his decision to revoke the property which belonged to Olusola Saraki due to alleged illegality in its acqusition.
