The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC has assured that it will do every thing possible to ensure former Minister, Deziani Alison-Madueke is repatriated back to Nigeria to face charges against her.
The Chairman of the commission, Ibrahim Magu made the assurance while speaking to news men in Ibadan today.
He said “the Commission had traced a number of criminal activities ranging from abuse of office, bribery, fraud, misuse of public funds and money-laundering to the former minister, who is currently at large to avoid questions on alleged criminal activities dotting her years as a minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria”.
Magu expressed shock why the country where she resides have not surrendered her to Nigeria to face justice.
Madueke was a former minister of Petroleum Resources during Jonathan’s administration.
