Dr. Kalu Agba Kalu a Nigerian who made headline last year after he defeated his white opponent that has been the council leader of Orangeburg for decades to emerge the new Council leader of his city, was at last city council meeting elected as mayor pro tempore, that is, Vice Mayor.
His election means that Dr. Kalu a pharmacist, will henceforth, be deputizing Mayor Michael Butler the Mayor of
Orangeburg City Council in Orangeburg, South Carolina, United States of America.
And, in any event that Mayor Michael Butler is not available, the Abiriba in Ohafia LG, Abia State born pharmacist will act as a Mayor of the City of Orangeburg.
