There has been a reported case of bomb blast at the anti-bomb unit of the Nigerian Police in Ado-Ekiti. The area is close to the old Governor’s office Nigeria Info FM, reports.
The blast the medium reports is believed to have been caused by an explosive stored in the coordinating office of the unit.
Though no life was lost due to the incident, the office and the ceilings of nearby buildings were seriously affected.
The Ekiti State Commissioner of Police, Amba Asuquo told Nigeria Info that investigation has commenced to find out what went wrong and the area has been cordoned off.
