COVID-19 UPDATE: Nigeria records 544 new cases, toll rises to 28,711

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC said five hundred and forty four (544) new cases of COVID-19 has been confirmed in Nigeria.

The NCDC tweeted that the cases were reported as follows;

The total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria now stands at twenty eight thousand seven hundred and eleven (28,711), 11,665 has been discharged and the number of deaths increased to 645.
