There was a mild drama at the resumed probe into the humongous corruption at Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC as the Acting Managing Director, Professor Kemebradikumo Pondei, slumped inside the House of Reps Chambers on Monday afternoon.

The chairman of the committee who was accused of corruption stepped aside during the sitting of the House of Representatives Committee on NDDC.

Prof. Pondei collapsed when he was answering questions from members of the committee in the presence of the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Mr. Godswill Akpabio, who was also ordered to appear and make presentations before the committee.

His fainting forced the house to suspend the sitting for 30 minutes while Professor Pondei was rushed out for medical attention.
